Prime time rating are down with this new Jay Leno show. Solution: Move him back to his old slot and push Conan and Jimmy back. Wrong! How about NBC puts on shows in the 10 o'clock hour that are good? Leno is done. His show isn't different then his late night show but instead of competing with other late night shows he is now in competition with sitcoms, dramas, and such (you know shows that your everyday American would rather watch then Leno).
Shows that Leno is up against at the 10 o'clock hour:
Numbers, Castle, CSI: Miami, The Forgotten, The Good Wife, Ugly Betty, CSI: NY, Private Practice, The Mentalist!!
For real? Some of these shows are already established with a good fan base and some of these are up and coming shows developing a fan base. Why watch Jay? I could get a better show out of Conan at 11:35, Jimmy Fallon at 12:30, David Letterman at 11:35, Jimmy Kimmel at 12, or Craig Ferguson at 12:30.
Maybe if his show was a completely different format people would watch but having a show that is basically all 5 of those comedians shows just in an earlier spot makes it unappealing.
My words of advice to Conan: Start talking to Fox so you can rival that big chinned bastard!
